Lake Magic is a shallow salt lake close to the Wave Rock resort area. Its colours shift with light, water level, and salt crust, so it is best near dawn or dusk rather than under hard midday sun.
Do not drive onto the lakeside. The surface can look firm and still trap vehicles, which is an expensive and embarrassing way to end a Wheatbelt detour.
