The Humps and Mulka's Cave

Granite dome and Aboriginal rock-art cave north of Hyden.

The Humps rise from the plain about 18 kilometres north of Hyden, a broad granite dome scattered with boulders and short walking trails. It is quieter than Wave Rock and gives the trip a rougher, more open feel.

Mulka's Cave sits at the base of the formation and contains many Aboriginal handprints and other markings. Treat it with care: the cave is culturally important, and the best visit is a quiet one.
