The Scarborough Beach Pool is an outdoor 50-metre lap pool sitting right on the foreshore, only a few metres from the Indian Ocean. It is the rare Perth pool with an actual ocean view from the lanes, and on a windy or jellyfish-prone day it is a better option than the surf next door.
The complex includes a children's splash pool, a 25-metre programme pool and an above-deck cafe. Casual entry is cheap; the pool is heated and open year-round.
