Things to Do

Jaluit Atoll rewards travellers with genuine curiosity and a tolerance for the pace of remote Pacific life. The main draws are World War II history scattered across the islands, lagoon diving and snorkelling on a largely undiscovered reef system, and the simple experience of a traditional Marshallese community going about its daily life with almost no tourist presence. There is no formal tourism infrastructure; visitors need to be self-sufficient.
