Kerikeri Farmers Market

Saturday morning market for local produce, honey, citrus, and crafts

Kerikeri's Saturday morning market is one of the better small-town markets in Northland, drawing producers from the surrounding horticultural district who bring kiwifruit, citrus, avocados, feijoas, honey, olive oil, and a rotating cast of seasonal produce. The town sits in a subtropical microclimate that supports fruit and vegetables not commonly grown further south, and the market reflects this.

The market runs from around 8am and is at its best early. Alongside the fresh produce there are usually stalls selling local arts and crafts, baked goods, preserves, and ready-to-eat food. It is a good place to stock up if you are staying in the Bay of Islands and self-catering, and worth timing a visit around if you are passing through on a Saturday.
