Rewa's Village, now linked with Te Ahurea, overlooks the Kerikeri Basin and the terraced Kororipo Pa landscape. It was built as a reconstruction of a pre-European Maori fishing village, using gardens, shelters, and domestic details to make the basin's early history easier to imagine.
The site works best as part of a slow Kerikeri heritage walk, combined with the Stone Store and mission buildings nearby. It is not a polished theme attraction; the value is the setting, the cultural context, and the way it pulls attention back to Maori life before the mission era.
