Waireinga / Bridal Veil Falls drops 55 metres from the Pakoka River into a bowl of grey rock and native bush. The top lookouts are reached by an easy short walk from the car park, while the lower viewpoints involve a long stairway down and back up.
It is one of the simplest half-day trips from Raglan and a good counterweight to the coast: cool forest, birdsong, and a waterfall that looks much larger from the base than it does from the road signs.
