Wither Hills Farm Park rises immediately south of Blenheim, turning the dry ridges above town into a public walking and mountain-biking area. The tracks climb through working farmland to views over the Wairau Valley, Cloudy Bay, and the Richmond Ranges.
It is exposed country, so carry water and avoid the hottest part of a summer afternoon. In clear light, though, it gives Blenheim the landscape drama the town centre lacks.
