Hauptplatz is Bruck's main square and the natural place to start. The standout facade is Kornmesserhaus, a late-15th-century town house with Venetian-Gothic detail that hints at Bruck's old importance as a trading centre.
Do not miss the Eiserner Brunnen, the iron fountain in the square. It has been part of the townscape for centuries and gives the broad square a stronger centre than it first appears to have.
