The Montforthaus is Feldkirch's modern cultural centre, used for concerts, conferences, and exhibitions. Its curving contemporary form sits just outside the medieval core, which makes the contrast with Marktgasse and Schattenburg especially sharp.
Check the programme rather than visiting only for the architecture. When something good is on, it gives the town an evening life that many small historic centres lack.
