A long-running Tyrolean inn on the Stadtplatz with a wood-panelled Stube, a tiled stove in the corner, and a menu of all the classics done well — schnitzel as wide as the plate, Spinatknödel with brown butter, Topfenpalatschinken for dessert. In summer you can sit out under the chestnut trees in the small front garden.
Service is friendly and unhurried. Mains around €15–22. They also rent simple rooms upstairs if you decide to stay the night.
