Tombeau du Géant is the postcard viewpoint of the Semois valley near Bouillon. From above, the river curls around a wooded ridge so neatly that the landscape seems designed for a map legend.
It is a short stop, but a good one, especially if you are driving or cycling the Ardennes back roads around Botassart. Go when visibility is clear; mist can be atmospheric, but the point of the place is the full sweep of the river bend below.
