Wildlife Park Bouillon spreads through wooded hillside above the town, showing mostly European animals in a setting that feels connected to the Ardennes rather than separate from it. It is a family attraction, but the trees and slopes keep it from feeling like a flat roadside zoo.
The park works best as a complement to Bouillon Castle and a walk along the Semois. It gives children a break from medieval stonework, while adults get another excuse to climb into the surrounding hills. Wear shoes suitable for slopes, especially after rain.
