Le Sanglier des Ardennes

One of the better-regarded restaurants in town, Le Sanglier des Ardennes (the Ardennes Wild Boar) leans into its regional identity with dishes built around game, mushrooms, and Ardennes ham. The wild boar in various preparations is worth ordering when available — braised slowly until it falls apart and served with forest mushrooms and root vegetables.

The dining room is warm and old-fashioned in a good way, with stone walls and low beams. Reservations are advisable on summer weekends when the town fills up with day-trippers from the cities. Prices are moderate to expensive, in line with the town's tourist profile.
