Thuin's hanging gardens are terraced plots on the warm southern flank below the upper town. Paths and steps lead through old vineyard walls, vegetable patches, small orchards, and sudden openings over the lower town.
They are modest rather than grand, which is part of their charm. Come here after the belfry, when the town's steep geography starts to make sense under your feet.
