The Svetlin Rusev Donative Exhibition is one of Pleven's quieter surprises. The collection was donated by the Bulgarian artist Svetlin Rusev and includes Bulgarian and international works, with names far better known than you might expect in a provincial city.
It is a good counterweight to the military museums. If you have an extra hour in the centre, this is where to spend it.
