The single pub on Herm, a hundred metres from the harbour and the only place that stays open late on the island. The bar serves local Guernsey Liberation Ale and pub food — crab sandwiches, fish and chips, scampi — through the day. The walled beer garden is the social centre of the island all summer.
Tables outside fill up at lunchtime in summer; the bar is quieter in the evenings once the day-trippers have caught the last ferry back to St Peter Port. The kitchen closes around 9 pm. Locals from Guernsey come over for Sunday lunch by private boat.
