Krvavica is a small coastal settlement 3 kilometres south of Baška Voda, administratively part of the same municipality, with a quiet pebble beach that sees fewer visitors than the main town. The beach sits below a low cliff with pine trees providing natural shade, and the swimming is excellent. The name — which translates roughly as "bloody place" — refers to a medieval skirmish, not to anything you need worry about today.
The village has a handful of apartments and a couple of konobas (traditional restaurants), and the pace of life is noticeably quieter than the more developed tourist zone to the north. It is an easy walk or cycle from Baška Voda along the coastal road, and a worthwhile detour for anyone wanting a less crowded stretch of beach.
