The Automatic Mills show a different side of Pardubice from the castle and square. Designed by Josef Gocar, the red-brick industrial complex has the weight and confidence of early 20th-century Czech architecture.
Its recent cultural reuse makes it more than a photo stop. Galleries, tours, and public spaces have turned the riverfront mill into one of the city's more interesting places to linger.
