Inkeroinen is the busiest of the three railway stations in the former Anjalankoski municipality, on the main Helsinki–Kouvola line. The current station building dates from a 1962 reconstruction; the original wooden station burned down in the 1950s.
The station is the easiest entry point for visitors to Anjala manor and the surrounding river attractions, which are within a short walk or cycle ride.
