Särkitunturi is one of the easiest fell walks in the area and one of the most rewarding. The trail climbs from the road to a rounded summit with small ponds, open rock, and a classic view toward the Pallas fells.
It is a good choice if you want Lapland scenery without committing to a long wilderness hike. Bring windproof clothing even on a clear day; the top is exposed.
