Laivasilta is Loviisa's old harbour edge, a short walk south of the centre. In summer the red shore sheds, guest boats and terraces give the town its liveliest public space.
It is also practical: boats for Svartholm usually leave from this side of town, so arrive early enough to look around rather than treating the harbour as only a pier.
