Rovaniemi Lutheran Church was built in 1950 near the city's administrative centre. Its best-known feature is Lennart Segerstrale's large fresco "Spring of Life", which uses Lapland imagery in a biblical setting.
The church is a worthwhile short stop for its postwar architecture, wall paintings, and the small arboretum by Kirkkolampi beside it.
