Majakka is Savonlinna's best-known year-round restaurant, a wood-panelled space overlooking the harbour and the kauppatori. The menu leans on Finnish lake-and-forest staples — vendace, pike-perch, reindeer, mushroom soup — with the freshwater fish straight from Lake Saimaa.
A two-course dinner runs 40–60 euros per head. Reservations are essential during the opera festival; outside July, walk-ins are fine. The terrace is the best summer-evening seat in town.
