The Aalto Centre is Seinäjoki's main reason to appear on a travel map. Alvar Aalto planned the administrative and cultural heart of the city as a group of buildings and public spaces rather than as a single monument.
Walk it slowly: the town hall, library, theatre, state office building, parish centre, church, and civic square are meant to work together. It is one of those places where a small city suddenly feels like a serious design destination.
