Törnävä is the gentler side of Seinäjoki: an old manor area south of the centre, with gardens and parkland around the former estate. It is a good place to understand that the city is not only roads, railways, and modern civic buildings.
It also matters because several summer events use the wider Törnävä area. Come outside festival time and it is simply a quiet walk with a bit of local history attached.
