Faure Museum

Villa museum with Rodin sculptures and Impressionist paintings from Dr Jean Faure's collection.

The Faure Museum is a quiet surprise: an art collection in a 1902 villa above the centre, built around the bequest of Dr Jean Faure. Its best-known strength is sculpture, including one of France's larger Rodin holdings outside Paris.

It is not a vast museum, which is part of the pleasure. Pair it with a walk through the old spa quarter rather than treating it as a full-day cultural stop.
