Notre-Dame is one of the old churches that give central Nogent its texture below the castle. It is also tied to Remy Belleau, the 16th-century poet born in town, whose tomb is kept here.
It is a short stop rather than a destination in itself, but it rounds out the castle visit and pulls you into the older streets below the ridge.
