Campo Santo is Perpignan's medieval cemetery cloister, begun around 1300 beside the cathedral. Wealthier families were buried in the brick arcades, while the open centre was once used for less formal burials and an ossuary.
Today it is a quiet, atmospheric space with traces of funerary sculpture and a few very old graves, the earliest visible one dating from 1317. It is sometimes used for events, so access can depend on the day.
