The Église Saint-Nicolas is the parish church of Bracieux, built in the 15th and 16th centuries on the site of an earlier Romanesque chapel. The exterior is plain — a single nave, a slate-roofed bell tower — but the interior holds a remarkable 18th-century baroque altar in carved and gilded wood, salvaged from a dissolved monastery during the Revolution, plus a small set of 17th-century paintings from a local convent.
The church is on the small square at the southern edge of the village. Generally open during daylight hours; the parish website lists Sunday Mass times.
