The Beuvron, the small river that gives the Sologne much of its character, runs east-to-west through the northern edge of Bracieux. A footpath follows it on both banks, past 19th-century stone wash-houses (lavoirs) and the small confluence with the Bonneure stream that feeds into it from the south.
The walk is around two kilometres in total — flat, shaded by tall oaks and beeches, and a good destination on a hot afternoon. In May the riverside meadows fill with cuckooflower and wild orchids; in October the bank is one of the better local mushroom spots.
A picnic table sits at the western end of the path, near the old Moulin de Bracieux (which is private but visible from outside).
