A kitesurf school working out of the nautical base on the Wissant seafront, which is where roughly nine lessons in ten happen — the bay is shallow, cross-shore and consistently windy, which is close to ideal for learning. The other two sites are the Pointe aux Oies at Wimereux and the harbour at Boulogne, used when the wind direction rules Wissant out.
Beyond kitesurf they teach wingfoil, kitefoil, e-foil and the land versions, kiteskate and wingskate, which are what the instructors fall back on when there is too little wind for the water. Equipment hire is available for riders who are already autonomous, and there are gift vouchers if you are buying this for somebody else.
