Restaurant Friedrich is one of the more reliable options in the Dutch Quarter area, serving regional Brandenburg cooking with a focus on local produce — game, freshwater fish from the Havel lakes, seasonal vegetables. The menu changes with the season, the portions are generous, and the room retains much of the old building's character. It is a step or two below the French polish of Restaurant Juliette but better suited to a straightforward good dinner without ceremony. Reservations advisable on weekends.
