St. Laurentius is the historic centrepiece of Müden: a small brick Gothic church with a separate timber-framed bell tower, standing close to the old village lanes. Inside are Gothic choir paintings and a bronze baptismal font from the 15th century.
It is a quiet stop rather than a major monument, but it gives the village real age. Visit it before walking out into the heath so Müden feels like a settlement with roots, not just a trailhead.
