The DKB-Ski-Arena Oberhof is one of the world's premier biathlon and cross-country skiing venues, hosting regular World Cup events that draw tens of thousands of spectators. In winter you can take a guided tour of the facility, hire cross-country ski equipment, and ski the same tracks used by the world's best athletes. In summer, the track area is open for running and walking — a pleasant loop through forest that gives little hint of its winter drama.
