Savoyai Castle is the grandest secular building in Ráckeve, a Baroque palace begun in 1702 for Prince Eugene of Savoy. It stands in a park on the Danube side of town and is usually described as one of Hungary's early examples of secular Baroque palace architecture.
The building has been adapted for hotel and event use, so the interior is not always a straightforward museum visit. Even so, the exterior, setting, and short walk from the centre make it one of the town's essential stops.
