Tiszavirag Bridge is Szolnok's modern river symbol, a pedestrian and cycle bridge linking the city centre with Tiszaliget. Its name means mayfly, after the short-lived insects that famously swarm over the Tisza in early summer.
The bridge is not an all-day sight, but it gives the best simple walk in the centre: cross the river, look back at the skyline, and continue into the park and sports area on the far bank.
