Carrickabraghy Castle is a ruined stronghold on a rocky coastal site near Pollan Strand. The surviving stonework is fragmentary, but the setting carries it: sea, beach, low cliffs, and the kind of wind that makes every Donegal ruin feel older.
Come for the atmosphere rather than for intact rooms or interpretation panels. It pairs naturally with Five Fingers Strand or Doagh Famine Village.
