Malin Head

Malin Head is the northern tip of mainland Ireland and the main reason many travellers push this far into Inishowen. The headland has clifftop walks, Atlantic views, a Napoleonic signal tower, wartime Eire markings, and sea-carved places with names like Hell's Hole.

It is exposed in the best and worst senses. Pick a clear day if you can, bring a layer even in summer, and treat the drive as part of the trip rather than a quick photo stop.
