Mitchell's is the obvious seafood table in Clifden, long established and right in the middle of town on Market Street. Come for oysters, mussels, chowder and whatever Atlantic fish is on the board.
It is not a secret, so summer evenings can fill quickly. If you want one sit-down meal in town after a Sky Road or Derrigimlagh day, this is a sensible first call.
