A craft brewery and pub on the north bank, on the site of an old Franciscan friary that gave its name to a holy well long since paved over. Beers (Rebel Red, Friar Weisse, Shandon Stout) are brewed on the premises and best drunk in the long beer garden out the back. The wood-fired pizza kitchen, also out back, is one of the best informal eating options in the centre.
