The old fishing quarter at the base of the cliffs, reached by a long flight of steps from the town above. Far quieter than the centre and noticeably more local — a few fishing boats still operate here, and the restaurants along the waterfront serve good seafood without the tourist markup of Piazza Tasso. Worth the walk down, especially in the evening.
