Palazzo del Drago

The Palazzo del Drago (also known as Palazzo Netti) is a Renaissance aristocratic palace on Via Francesco Cozza in the town centre, one of the more refined buildings in this otherwise medieval-scale town. The facade features the carved dragon emblem that gives the palace its common name.

The building is private and not open to visitors, but the exterior is visible from the street and worth noting as you walk through the historic centre. It dates from the sixteenth century and reflects the wealth brought to the region during the period when nearby Viterbo and Orvieto were significant papal cities.
