Tuscolo

Tuscolo is the archaeological site of ancient Tusculum, set on a ridge above Frascati with wide views over the Castelli Romani and Rome. The ruins are modest compared with Rome's great monuments, but the setting is the reason to come: fragments of the ancient city, paths through the hillside, and a panorama that explains why the Alban Hills were prized retreat country for centuries.
