The baroque parish church of the Assunta at Veravo (the municipal seat of Castelbianco) is the main church of the commune, dating from the 17th century. The interior is modest — a single nave with baroque decoration — but the church is well maintained and worth a brief visit if you're passing through Veravo.
At Vesallo (the hamlet destroyed by the 1887 earthquake and never rebuilt), the ruins of the church of the Annunziata stand in the landscape: two campaniles, one tall with an onion-shaped spire, rising above the collapsed walls. It's a melancholy but atmospheric sight from the road.
