The beach at Ceriale stretches for about two kilometres along the town's seafront — wide, sandy, and well maintained. This is not a fashionable beach destination in the manner of Portofino or the Cinque Terre, but it is a genuinely good beach: clean water, real sand (not pebbles), and a promenade backed by the town's low-rise buildings rather than overdevelopment.
From June to September, private concessions (lidi) operate most of the beach with umbrellas, sunbeds, and bar service. These require payment but offer a comfortable, organized experience. Free public beach (spiaggia libera) is available at both ends. The sea is calm and shallow close to shore, making it suitable for children. Behind the beach, the promenade fills with evening walkers and gelato-eaters in classic Italian seaside fashion.
