Parish Church of San Giovanni Battista

The 17th-century parish church of San Giovanni Battista is the main religious building in Nasino, sitting at the centre of the village. The church is a typical example of rural Ligurian Baroque religious architecture — modest in scale but carefully finished, with the campanile forming the most prominent element on the village skyline.

The interior contains some devotional artwork and furnishings characteristic of the period and region, and the church remains in active use for the local parish. It is generally open to visitors during the day and at service times. The area immediately around the church, with its paved square and the views toward the surrounding wooded slopes, gives a good sense of Nasino's character as a traditionally settled Ligurian hill village.
