Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista

The Gothic church dedicated to Saint John the Baptist was built in 1340 and stands at the top of the village's main street, Via Colombo. Its small piazza offers a good elevated view back down the valley toward the harbour. The rose window on the facade is the most decorative feature of an otherwise simple exterior. The interior is cool and dark and worth a brief visit; look for the carved portal.
