The hills above Capraia e Limite are laced with walking tracks that follow old trade routes between Florence and the Valdarno. These are not manicured tourist paths but functional old roads, now used mainly by hunters and local walkers, that pass through countryside largely unchanged since the medieval period.
The routes connect the two village centres and extend to nearby Montelupo Fiorentino, passing Romanesque churches, farmhouses, and patches of oak woodland. A good circuit takes two to three hours from Limite sull'Arno, gaining enough height to give views over the Arno bend below. No special equipment is needed, but the paths are unsignposted in places — a local walking map is useful.
