Makedonium is the monument everyone remembers from Kruševo: a white, spiked, almost otherworldly building dedicated to the 1903 Ilinden uprising and later partisan struggles. It stands on the Gumenje hill above town, with broad views and a small memorial landscape around it.
The building is worth seeing even if you have no special interest in Yugoslav-era monuments. It manages to be solemn, odd, and beautiful at the same time.
